TRANSPORT PLANNER/MODELLER - Dubai

Your principle role will be to assist in the delivery of a wide range of strategic transport modelling and demand forecasting as well as transport appraisal work across this Emirate.

The Transport Planner/Modeller will be working for the Planning Department which is engaged in the mapping and zoning of the entire Emirate with a view to creating a new master plan.

As part of this important process, the Planning Department are looking to appoint a Transport Planner /Modeller with a strong background in transport infrastructure and strategic modelling who is able to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis, report and plots from transport models and from transport appraisal packages.

Degree qualified, you will have experience as a Transport Planner/Modeller for road and/or public transport studies with the ability to contribute to the success of a range of high profile transport projects.

Previous experience gained in the role of Transport Planner/Modeller within the Middle East environment would be highly advantageous combined with the ability to work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team as well as possessing the ability to work independently to solve problems to assist in the continuing success of the Planning Department and of the municipality generally.
