STEELWORKS FABRICATION MANAGER – Heavy Construction Project- Saudi Arabia

Our Client is probably one of the best known international contractors operating throughout the Middle East.  They have recently been awarded a £multi-million civils and building project with a substantial structural steel content. 

They are looking for a highly experienced and accomplished structural steelwork manager to manage all steelwork production on site as well as supervising the consultants who are providing the concept design for the structural steelwork.

Your responsibilities will also extend to the appointment of key contractors as well as monitoring their pre-construction performance, checking manufacturing schedules of structural steel components, thus ensuring the correct inspections are carried out by the consultants and that agreed shipping programmes are achieved.

A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential combined with a minimum of 15 years relevant experience of structural steelwork erection including a good general knowledge of large scale heavy construction projects involving high value civils and building works.

Previous experience working in the Middle East would be a definite advantage and the ability to join an established team and to make a substantial contribution to the success of the project is of the utmost importance.
