Description
As a Quantity Surveyor you will be part of a leading partitioning specialist and drywall specialists. In the fast track industry of fit-out, they pride themselves in offering a quality service.
 
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the successful Quantity Surveyor will have responsibility for all commercial aspects on a number of projects particularly income and expenditure to maximise profit margins and monitor budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Preparation of project budgets, checking projects contracts, administering projects Contracts.
  2. Measurement of project to check quantities against tender allowances.
  3. Preparation of tender documents for any sub contract works and specialist suppliers.
  4. Ensure an awareness of key responsibilities under the contract; ensure regular agreement of site instructions with the client. Ensure payments are received on time in accordance with the contractual payment terms; ensure retention monies are released when due.
  5. Prepare and discuss the final account for projects. Negotiate and agree final accounts.
 
ESSENTIAL SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

  1. Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor at intermediate or Senior level.
  2. Able to deal well with people at all levels including clients as well as suppliers.
  3. Knowledge or experience of Fit-outs, refurbishments and have dealt with Partitioning
  4. Background of Façade, glazing, Dry Lining, metal work, roofing/cladding, joinery or any similar specialist sub-contractor industry background would be preferable.
  5. Experience working within the Fast Track Fit Out Industry
