- Description
- The candidate to be identified will have been within the industry for a minimum of 15 years and would have worked for the last five years at least as project lead reporting to a visiting senior manager or director on schemes with a value of between £20m to £50m.
The initial scheme you will be managing is a £100 million residential project in Stratford.
Key criteria will be that on the projects managed by the candidate will have been successfully completed demonstrating that the candidate had complete involvement from pre-construction activities to hand over of the completed project with a high level of safety management, successful financial control and end user satisfaction.
The candidate will have commensurate technical knowledge which would be expected with the level of experience achieved, being able to interact effectively with colleagues from the safety, design, procurement and commercial disciplines, along with those representing stakeholder organizations and external consultancies.
The role requires the ability to be part of a team with candidate managing a small team of site managers on site and being able to communicate and liaise with counterparts in the wider project team to support a successful safely delivered project or package. There will a requirement to report clearly and effectively to the senior staff.
It is anticipated that the candidate will be able to demonstrate longevity at a traditional tier one or upper tier two main contractor and whilst not essential it would be ideal to demonstrate the candidates part progression within the same organization.
The candidate should be able to work across a number of construction disciplines but with focus on commercial and residential and appreciate that projects will be all in the London area.
Package on offer is upto £110k plus 10% guaranteed bonus + healthcare (family) + 8% company pension contribution.
