<p>This is a senior management position with responsibility for overseeing the commercial and financial performance of the business.</p>
<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in managing the company's commercial operations and supporting the continued growth and development of the business.</p>
<p>You will oversee Commercial, Estimation, Accounts and Human Resources functions, ensuring effective financial control, accurate estimating and commercial management, appropriate resource planning and strong internal processes.</p>
<p>The business delivers high-end joinery and interior solutions for luxury hospitality, residential, commercial and other prestigious developments.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>Lead commercial management from tender through to final account, including budgets, valuations, variations, claims, cost reporting and final accounts.</li>
<li>Oversee tendering and estimation, ensuring accurate, competitive and commercially viable pricing.</li>
<li>Manage the Accounts function, including financial reporting, invoicing, cash flow, collections and financial controls.</li>
<li>Oversee procurement and commercial negotiations with suppliers, subcontractors and other third parties.</li>
<li>Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks across the business.</li>
<li>Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal teams to achieve positive commercial outcomes.</li>
<li>Support the Human Resources function, including recruitment, workforce planning, employee management and compliance.</li>
<li>Provide leadership to departmental managers, ensuring effective people, systems and processes across the business.</li>
<li>Develop and implement commercial, financial and operational processes to improve profitability and business performance.</li>
<li>Work closely with the wider group leadership team to ensure the joinery business is aligned with group objectives.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Experience Required</strong></p>
<ul type="disc">
<li>At least 10 years' in quantity surveying / estimation, with sound management experience.</li>
<li>Previous experience working in the UAE or wider Middle East.</li>
<li>Strong experience within joinery, fit-out or interiors businesses.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing commercial and estimating functions.</li>
<li>Experience overseeing Accounts/Finance and HR functions would be advantageous.</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage multiple departments and teams.</li>
<li>Strong financial, commercial, leadership and people-management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.</li>
<li>Excellent written and spoken English.</li>
