- Description
- This contractor is highly successful in the execution of projects in the £300k - £2m range within the building new build interior fit-out and refurbishment sector and has been operating in their market for over thirty years.
They are currently looking for a Contracts Manager / Quantity Surveyor to run schemes in London and the South East.
- Most likely to have demonstrable experience within the fit-out and refurbishment industry
- Experience of refurbishment contracts, and some experience of new build would be an advantage
- Capable of looking after 1-3 projects at any one time
- Project size between £300k and £2m
Day to day Contracts Manager duties include:
- Responsibility for production
- Programme
- Cost control / Payments to subcontractors
- Valuations and Final Accounts
- CVRs
- Quality & safety
- Procurement
- Conversant with bills & contracts
- Contract correspondence
- To represent the company at monthly progress meetings, design meetings, internal cost meetings, safety meetings etc
