- Description
- Our client, a well established regional main contractor, are currently looking for Assistant Quantity Surveyor due to increasing workload to complement their team of Surveyors. Projects range from £1 million to £20 million in value.
You should have at least two years experience working with a main contractor or PQS Consultancy, and already completed your studies.
The main duties of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be:
- Evaluating works done to process payments to sub contractors and negotiating with sub contractors with regard to their payment applications.
- Assisting in the procurement of subcontractors.
- Assist in preparing cashflow analysis reports on spreadsheets to correspond with the programme of works.
- Assist in preparing interim valuations for submission to clients.
- Assist in producing monthly CVR’s
Full development will be given to the candidate with the objective of running their own jobs.
