- Description
- Our client is a highly successful main contractor, involved in commercial, government, retail and residential construction projects across Canada. Based in their Vancouver office and reporting in to the head of department, you will help manage a team of intermediate and junior estimators as well as work passing through the department.
Typical bids area range of CM, fixed price, budgetary and general pre-con support. You will also be responsible for carrying out the front-end procurement of packages on secured projects or those that transition from CM to lump sum.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be suitably qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Have demonstrable estimating experience working for main contractors involved in commercial, government, retail and residential sectors.
A high level of responsibility will be given; therefore a conscientious and enthusiastic approach is essential.
The position carries an excellent basic salary and benefits package.
