Description
The primary focus of the role is to assist the Project Director and the Project Management team with a variety of administrative and management tasks in the overall execution of project processes and, ultimately, the successful delivery of the project on time and on budget.
 
The core responsibilities of the role are:
 
Communication
-          To direct the communication flow between the client team, the project team and the consultants and professionals
-          To build and maintain good working relationships between the project team, the client, the consultant and professional teams and all stakeholders
-          To collect and collate data as requested by the client team and to document project operations, ensuring vital information is shared as appropriate
 
Reporting
-          To prepare and present the monthly project report
-          To prepare and coordinate the monthly progress report
-          To review the weekly reports received from the consultants and provide a synopsis to the client team
 
Process
-          To conduct weekly/ monthly reviews with the appointed consultants to ensure they have delivered according to their objectives
-          To ensure that all contributors to the project work towards agreed milestones and deadlines in a well-coordinated manner
 
Logistics & Coordination:
-          To coordinate and ensure the smooth operation of the day-to-day schedule
-          To prepare meetings, take notes and ensure matters raised are followed up on in a timely fashion
 
The ideal candidate would fulfil the following requirements:
 
Requirements:
-          Hands-on attitude with a flexible approach
-          Excellent communicator and quick-thinking, especially under pressure
-          Resilient, diligent, a “doer”
 
Experience:
-          At least 5 years working experience in projects £50 m plus
-          Background either with Project Management firm or contractor 
-          Package Manager preferable
-          Ideally experienced with Grade 1 listed projects or Hotel projects in London
 
Qualifications:
-          Project management/ Engineering/ QS background
-          Proficient user of Aconex and Microsoft Office
