Our Client is a well-known construction and joinery company that operate both domestically and internationally. Despite the pandemic, they have enjoyed another year of sustainable growth and to build on recent success, they are currently looking for a Design Engineer to help design new products as well as develop their existing products and improve processes.
The company specialise in the manufacture and construction of high end timber framed buildings, including annexes, orangeries, garden rooms, barns, pool houses, garages, stables.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- To be accountable and responsible for the technical design, processes and staff.
- To ensure that all stakeholder requirements are understood and all designs, processes and staff exceed these expectations.
- To drive continuous development within the function.
Requirements:
- Experience designing timber frame buildings and structures.
- Qualification in structural engineering or similar would be advantageous, although this is not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills.
