- Description
- An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Estimator to work alongside our Head of Estimation due to both current and continued workload and anticipated future growth.
The successful candidate will be expected to be competent in standard office duties which will include general process control, assisting with the estimating process and understanding specifications / building details.
The candidate should be able to apply themselves in a professional environment.
Tasks Include:
- Help with processing quote requests, ensuring designs are logged and sent to the drawing team.
- Assist in producing quotations for various types and designs.
- Assist in the entire process from drawing requests, to estimating and producing accurate quotations in a timely manner.
- Assist with post quoting revisions and requests.
- Ensure accurate and timely submissions of quotes.
- Logging the quotations date and value.
- In close liaison with our team of designers, Ad-hoc duties may involve over the phone estimations and quick turnaround quotes.
Advanced knowledge of excel and other Microsoft packages is required
