- Description
- This long established high end residential contractor who operate in London require an experienced Small Works Manager / Maintenance Manager.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards of health and safety practice in accordance with health and safety policy and the project safety requirements
- Managing multiple maintenance contracts
- Delivering outstanding quality of maintenance and customer service
- Keeping accurate records of daily works and corresponding costs
- Visiting each site regularly (once a month minimum) to ensure that all maintenance procedures are up to date and recorded
- Liaising with clients/designers, dealing with all queries and snagging issues on maintenance sites
- Delivering customer expectations whilst meeting budgets for sales and service
- Developing clear processes to ensure rigorous maintenance programmes
- Proactive approach to deal with issues which may arise on site
- Following set procedures on Health and Safety, working practices and reporting all issues which may arise
- Enforcing strict Health and Safety procedures and training where required
- Managing own time between office and site visits as necessary
- Preparing cost pricing and estimates for new projects/contracts
- Carry out any amendments or variations to existing projects / contracts
- Regular contact with customers to keep them updated
- Overseeing new projects through to completion
- Communicate with Senior project manager and QS to ensure any risks are mitigated
- General office ad hoc duties as and when require
