- Description
- We have an exciting opportunity for a Project CAD Designer to join a fast-expanding company providing Fire, Security and Commercial glazing systems to the construction industry. They are a forward- thinking and motivated company with an established reputation for innovation through bespoke design solutions and high levels of client care.
The successful candidate will join an enthusiastic team, committed to maintaining excellent standards of quality. They recognise the importance of promoting enjoyable employment and value their staff and their support.
The working hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 3pm.
Day to day duties:
- Obtaining information from handovers, drawings, briefs and specifications
- Responsible for working to client- supplied information
- Accurately interpret site survey reports and recreate within AutoCAD.
- Produce detailed design drawings within the company design standards
- Liaison and coordination with third- party manufacturing facilities
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with AutoCAD 2D to a proficient level.
- Minimum 5 years’ working with the Curtain Walling Façade industry
- Experience working with Schuco systems, Schucal and logical would be advantageous.
Opportunity to work from home 2-3 days a week.
