- This challenging opportunity demands the skills of a suitably qualified and experienced Manager to run the vehicle and plant workshops of a highly successful readymix company.
You should be experienced in supervising a large workforce involved in the repair and maintenance of a variety of fixed and mobile plant and equipment including heavy transport vehicles, concrete plants as well as general readymix related equipment.
The position will involve imposing modern workshop procedures as well as organising on-going staff training and development in order to improve skills within the workplace.
Required experience:
- Experience working as a Workshop Manager or Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager with Readymix Concrete companies.
- Strong communication skills, along with the ability to manage a multi-cultural team.
- Enjoy a challenge and have high levels of self-motivation and initiative.
- Technical and trade experience. In depth knowledge of plant maintenance is essential together with a strong `can-do` approach to solving plant issues quickly and efficiently.
- Experience working in the Middle East is an advantage but NOT a pre-requisite.
