- Description
- Our Client, a leading International Main Contractor, are currently on the lookout for a Mock-up Coordinatorto join their business in Copenhagen, Denmark.
You will be responsible for the overall coordination and supervision of the general contractor's mock up plan, engaging with the Client, end-user groups, design teams and key subcontractors immediately upon selection in order to identify high risk areas and come up with the best mock up plan.
Key duties include:
- Quality control, inspections, corrective actions.
- Monitor and manage the samples, Mock-up process coordination, Testing
- On/off Site inspections, witnessing the tests.
- Regular daily correspondence, support on all technical details
- Understand timelines and ensure the mockups team is working within the development calendar to meet deadlines
- Provide guidance/ recommendations on the structures that need to be adjusted.
- Responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the mock-up development
- Manage internal and external resources developing mockups from an aesthetic and structural point of view.
- Work with outside mockup vendors requesting quotes and ensure accuracy and timeliness of mockups
Previous experience working internationally would be an advantage, although talented individuals looking for their first move into the market will be considered.
The successful candidate MUST have;
- Solid understanding of the mockup process, such as materials, building skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent technical understanding of building services for different sectors along with a good overview of the other specialist disciplines associated with building services.
- Relevant experience in engineering design, including areas such as specification writing, calculations, and developing designs from first principles
- Experience of seeing conceptual designs through to completion and dealing directly with clients.
- Hospital / healthcare related project experience would be advantageous.
- Suitably qualified, ideally to degree level in Construction, Architecture, Building, or Civil Engineering.
- Able to make decisions, act on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
- Must be detail oriented, able to prioritize tasks, delegate appropriately, and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines and shifting timelines.
- Computer Skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe and basic Illustrator skills.
