Job Summary:
The successful applicant will be experienced Electrical Contracts Manager for projects based in the east/southeast and south of England. This needs to be someone that has experience on working on rail buildings. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering electrical projects from £1,000.00 to £1.5m.
Duties:
- Engage with clients to develop new business and ensure that HBS are seen to deliver top customer service
- Monitor and ensure compliance with delivery of all PPM programmes and reactive KPI’s
- Prepare quotations for new works and manage the delivery of all small works arising there from
- Prepare monthly report on works executed, costs and any remedial works arising from PPM activity
- Work closely with Assetpro and monitor all Attendance and resolution times to ensure that we do not fail on any jobs.
- Load all job sheets/quotations/test sheets etc to the job record on Assetpro as required
- Carry out H&S and quality audits on sites under your management
- Manage overall project delivery from inception to practical completion
- Overall H&S is monitored and kept to the highest standards, reporting any issues that arise
- Time served and industry qualifications or HNC in building services.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role having delivered Electrical projects from £1k- £1.5m.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload. Developed problem solving skills, including the ability to manage conflicting work demands
- Capacity to work independently with limited supervision
- Demonstrates a strong customer orientation
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to liaise and advise staff at all levels
- Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal with good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- To be flexible and work as part of a team.
- Able to work under pressure and meet short deadlines.
- Must be very ‘hands on’ with can do attitude
