Top 5 Main Contractor responsible for successfully delivering iconic building and infrastructure projects across Canada with a turnover in excess of C$3 billion.
Position:
This is an important position with one of the region’s leading contractors who are engaged on a number of large scale projects throughout Vancouver and the British Columbia area.
The company is looking to appoint a Project Director who will be responsible for overseeing projects from tender through to completion and handover. This role has come available due to the considerable volume of work being tendered for and awarded.
Projects being targeted are typically up to C$500m in value and include hospitals, education, commercial and transportation. Contract types are mainly construction management and design and build.
Requirements:
- Preferably Degree or Diploma qualified in relevant discipline.
- Experience working for Tier 1 main contractors as a Project Manager / Project Director on large design and build construction projects.
- Previous experience working in Canada or internationally would be an advantage, although this is not a pre-requisite.
- Experience in pre-con and tendering, as well as project delivery.
