- The Company:
A successful Construction Group are seeking a Planning Engineer in Manama, Bahrain. The company are engaged in civil engineering and building works, with expertise in industrial, commercial, residential and hotel projects.
Position and Project:
Following the recent award of a major military project, they are poised to enter an exciting phase of their expansion. To maintain their enviable reputation and to help ensure the efficient delivery of this project, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Planning Engineer.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- To estimate a timescale for a project and to ensure that the outlined deadlines are met.
- Ensuring that the project runs on schedule and that material supplies are sufficient.
- Guarantee that plans meet the client’s specification.
- Create estimation for timescales and costs.
- Supervise the project at all stages and provide solution to problems.
- Ensure procedures are carried out safely.
- Responsible for planning and coordinating the materials, plans, equipment and labor.
- Develop the cause-and-effect delay analysis in line with the project specific requirements and coordinate with PMs to establish the claims effectively.
- To coordinate with PMs and develop the resource analysis of the project, based on the approved baseline programs.
Requirements:
- Degree Qualified Civil Engineering
- 10+ years of proven experience in the main contracting field.
- Previous experience working on Military Projects is highly desirable.
