Our client, a well known international contracting organisation, is looking for an accomplished Commercial Manager to oversee a major project in Bahrain. You will be based on site and will have a team of quantity surveyors reporting in to you.
As Commercial Manager you will be given autonomy to run a US$200M+ project, reporting to the Project Director.
Previous experience working in the Middle East will be an advantage and the ability to join an established team and to make a substantial contribution to the success of the commercial management process is of the utmost importance.
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or similar). RICS qualified and Bahrain experience preferred, but not essential. Strong commercial acumen needs to be shown, in particular for contract administration and cost control/budget management.
