- Description
- A major contractor have strong relationships with their client and a healthy pipeline for work for the future, therefore for the right candidate can offer career development and progression opportunities.
The work is to work on local authority schemes working on decarbonisation / retrofit projects.
The main purpose of this role is to take responsibility, ownership and accountability of the successful management and control all aspects of the commercial / financial and contractual elements of multiple designated projects within a Division in order to control and maximize the company’s profitability, protect the company’s legal and contractual obligations under the contract and to manage proactively the control of all commercial issues.
This is to include managing other commercial and operational resources, ensuring applications and valuations are completed in line with the contract terms and also ensuring sub-contractors receive prompt payment and are procured in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors.
What will you deliver?
- Finalisation of docs for approval by MQS
- Ability to report effectively internally and externally (client relationships important)
- Contractual correspondence – notices if delayed, NCR, etc
- Liaison with legal counsel to ensue relevant contractual documents are executed in a timely manner (collateral warranties, pcgs, etc) – new build more so
- Design team meetings to ensure that commercial impact is considered – new build
- Raising invoices for clients submit to MQS for final approval
