- Description
- This traditional main contractor is looking for a Contracts Manager to work on a number of forthcoming contracts. As a well established business, they consistently aim to be leaders in building relationships with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers alike.
The appointed candidate will play a major role in managing key construction contracts.
The Contracts Manager must have the following as a minimum;
- Candidate must be dedicated and have good organisational skills
- Experience in managing fit -out and refurbishment works
- Experience with managing a team
- Experience with managing multiple projects at the same time ranging from £100k to £5million, maximum 5 projects at any one time depending on size, value, contract, risk, etc
- Estimated healthcare, education and commercial schemes
- Experience with using Microsoft word, Outlook and Excel
- Experience with working on JCT (Traditional and D&B)
- Detailed Knowledge and experience with workings with drawings and have good construction/buildability knowledge
- Must have good team working skills
- Must have a driving licence
- Produce construction Programmes, progress reports, etc as required
- Assist with the Pre-construction process and securing new work
