- Description
- A long established and well respected scaffolding contractor are looking for a Scaffolding Estimator to join their team.
As an experienced Scaffolding Estimator you must have a first class grounding in the preparation of tenders commercial and residential projects upto £250k
Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications, drawings, and site conditions to determine the scaffolding requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and objectives.
- Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates, taking into account labour, materials, equipment, and other project-specific factors.
- Analyze project risks and constraints to develop effective scaffolding solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new scaffolding technologies, and best practices.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as using own initiative
Qualifications:- Previous experience as a Scaffolding Estimator, ideally in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, and erection techniques.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings, specifications, and relevant technical documents.
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately estimate project costs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with estimating software and tools is a plus.
- Must have a full UK driving licence
