Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute General Manager to lead an established ready-mix concrete operation within the GCC. This role carries full responsibility for the performance, profitability, and strategic development of the business, ensuring it remains competitive in a demanding and fast-paced market.

Reporting to senior stakeholders, the General Manager will drive operational excellence, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the ready-mix concrete business
• Oversee daily operations, including production, distribution, logistics, and sales
• Drive improvements in plant performance, fleet utilisation, and operational efficiency
• Develop and execute business plans to increase market share and profitability
• Ensure consistent product quality in line with international standards and customer specifications
• Maintain full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
• Build and manage relationships with key clients, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost optimisation

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the ready-mix concrete industry in the Middle East
• Strong track record of managing operations and delivering commercial results
• In-depth knowledge of ready-mix production, plant operations, and logistics

• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with P&L responsibility
• Excellent understanding of quality standards and operational best practice in ready-mix concrete
• Strong leadership and people management capability

• Ability to analyse operational and financial data to inform decision-making
• Suitably qualified, ideally to degree level in a related field
