- Description
- Our client, a main contracting organisation requires a General Foreman.
You will currently be working as a General Foreman and responsible for the day to day management of all sub contract and direct labour site teams and activities, ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the programme while also making sure a very high level of quality and all construction standards are maintained.
You will also be responsible for ensuring the Health and Safety procedures are followed.
You will be expected to be self-standing and reliable and capable of interacting with the designers, engineers, sub contractors, suppliers and all levels of staff to ensure a fully compliant delivery of all works under their control.
Applicant must have demonstrable site experience as a site foreman on residential projects. An appreciation of detail and premium construction and finishing techniques, materials and processes is a distinct advantage. Likely to be from a carpentry / joinery and finishings background although not an exclusive requirement and have a technical appreciation of the whole construction process.
The role requires you to report to the Site Manager
Applicants must be CSCS registered and hold current health and safety certification.
