- A successful International Commercial Stone Contracting Firm are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their office in New York City, USA. The company’s projects comprise of casinos, hotels and other high end residential and commercial style projects.
Following the recent award of numerous contracts, the firm are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to manage a scope of works for the stone package for a major commercial refurbishment and extension project.
As Senior PM you will be responsible for managing, training and developing project managers, superintendents and assistant level staff. Management of multiple or individual larger projects will be a key part, as well as ensuring risk management and safety measures are met on site. There will be involvement with bid teams, business development and generation of new sales, at the same time as developing and managing client relationships.
The ideal candidate must have- Bachelor Degree in Construction, Project Management, Architecture or Engineering with a minimum of 10+ years project management experience of which candidates must possess 7 years in a fit out contracting environment.
- Extensive stone, marble or flooring experience will be advantageous.
- The aptitude to drive projects to completion is required with a strong attention to detail.
- Experience gained with main contractors or sub-contractors is desirable.
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office and MS Project comparable.
- Must have legal rights to work in the USA.
The salary and package offered is entirely negotiable, depending on experience.
