- Description
- Our client a main contractor are currently looking for a Buyer to join their organisation.
Ideally, they are looking for someone who has a minimum of 3 years experience dealing with the procurement of plant and materials. The desired candidate will already have managed contracts to the value of £2m upwards.
Buyer Responsibilities and Duties will include:
- Implementing procedures and supply agreements
- Negotiation with suppliers.
- Progressing the provision of materials and services to meet contract programmes and deadlines.
- Obtaining quotations for materials and plant to tight deadlines to meet tender return dates.
- Raising of orders ensuring relevant technical and commercial clauses are included
