- A smaller but recognised name within the housing market is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for their Hertfordshire office.This office is aiming to deliver over 400 units within the next two years.The role is office based but with site visits and entails managing the commercial interests of developments. Reporting to the Commercial Manager or Director the duties to be carried out include overseeing variations, sub-contact orders and accounts as well as other general QS duties. You will take sites from day one with initial procurement through to monthly reporting and final accounts.The ideal candidate must have,• Strong computer skills,• Experience within the traditional/timber build housing marketIt would be an advantage to have/be,• Worked for a recognised house builder• Within 1 hour of the office.
