- A leading International main contractor operating throughout Europe is actively looking for an accomplished Senior Buyer or hands on Procurement Manager to become involved on a major construction project in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance and support to the procurement team also responsible for buying activities.
- Negotiation with suppliers.
- Progressing the provision of materials and services to meet contract programmes and deadlines.
- Obtaining quotations for materials to tight deadlines.
- Raising of orders ensuring relevant technical and commercial clauses are included.
Requirements:
- Considerable experience in the procurement of subcontract and construction materials.
- Experience working in the Dutch / Netherlands market would be advantageous.
- Fluent in English.
