About the Opportunity

A Miami-based design and build company specialising within the high-end furniture and architectural interiors sector is seeking a commercially-minded COO/CFO to help lead the next phase of growth. With a strong reputation among leading architects, designers and private clients, the business delivers bespoke solutions for high-end residential and hospitality spaces.

This is a unique opportunity for a strategically minded operator to partner closely with the CEO and founders—bringing rigour to operations, financial clarity to the boardroom and scalable systems to support a growing pipeline of high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Leadership: Run daily operations across studio, project management, procurement, CRM and vendor partnerships.
• Financial Oversight: Own financial planning and analysis—forecasting, budgeting, cash flow management and craft financial reporting for the board and financiers.
• Growth & Strategy: Devise pricing frameworks, support contract negotiations, and identify new revenue streams including contract interiors and bespoke large-scale projects.
• Systems & Process: Build scalable infrastructure—processes, ERP/accounting systems, and dashboards—to support the next growth phase.
• Team Enablement: Mentor a small, expert team, nurture top-tier service culture and drive professional development.
• Executive Partnership: Counsel the CEO on growth strategy, investor relations, supplier alliances and potential strategic expansion.

Ideal Profile

• Experience as COO/CFO or senior operations/finance leader in a similar bespoke furniture, interior design and build enterprise.
• Strong understanding of finance management with proven hands‑on experience overseeing P&L, cash flow, and accounting.
• Operational excellence: adept at scaling a business without compromising quality or customer experience.
• Strategic thinker, data-driven, with polished negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Passion for luxury interiors design and construction.
