- Our Client is a highly successful construction company with their reputation stamped firmly on some of the largest projects built within the region over the past thirty years. Due to continued success and the award of a number of major contracts, the company is looking to appoint a Contracts Manager.
Candidates must have construction experience in the Oil & Gas Sector, overseeing major oil & gas projects within a similar capacity. Functional experience in commercial / contract / subcontract administration and management is an important pre-requisite.
The successful candidate will lead all activities related to contractual, legal, commercial and insurance issues related to contracts with clients in pre and post award stages, including the drafting of contracts, mitigation of the risks and generation of variation orders to maximize profits.
The successful candidate must be degree qualified in a related field (ie. Quantity Surveying or Engineering), and preferably supported by a Masters. Candidates must have 20+ years of experience working with Contractors, with a minimum of 8+ years in Contracts and Commercial management.
Prior overseas experience, particularly in the Middle East is required. Previous experience working in Oman would be an advantage.
