Description
A dynamic main contractor specialising in new build refurbishment and part commercial are currently looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their organisation.

Typically projects have values of up to £5m in the education, healthcare, residential sectors.

Role:

This is a new role for the organisation and they are looking for Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible on focusing on delivery of low cost supply chain solutions and strategies to assist in winning tenders and project delivery. Also, to improve supplier performance, generate savings and significantly reduce cost and business risk.

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Ideally you will be a Supply Chain Manager with a construction background who has a proven track record in delivering significant cost savings and value creation.
  • Experienced in developing and delivery of supply chain strategies at tender winning and project delivery phases.
  • The ability to multi task across projects reacting quickly to ensure timely delivery where needed
  • Analytical skills, measured approach to decision making, highly competent in supplier selection and evaluation
  • Strong negotiation skills, strong contractual and commercial competence
  • Enthusiastic team player, strong communicator, highly customer focused
  • You will be willing to go the extra mile to exceed expectations and continually search for ways to add value and take performance to the next level
  •  Due to my client being a small sized main contractor this means that they are also a tightknit company. They work as a team and have a good, positive working atmosphere. They have also shown successful growth over the years, however have wanted to keep their tightknit identity so have not grown too much and lost this identity.

If this does sound of interest, then please call or e mail Robert Ferrari at Ashbrittle Recruitment on 01727 854 054 or robert@ashbrittle.com
