- Description
- A well-established and highly regarded and reputed small sized UK joinery company are currently looking for a spray booth painter for wood finishing to join the team.
Their experienced craftsmen create the finest bespoke joinery for our clients and main contractors, providing the highest quality and service at all levels.
They work predominately in the high end residential market, with the occasional project carried out for commercial clients.
They are ideally looking for someone who will work in the joinery workshop spray booth and can do the following:
- High quality spray paint finishing of solid colour paint
- Clear base and lacquer applications
- Mixing paints to match existing colours and tones
- Preparing work to extremely high standards
- Working to specific production schedules and project deadlines
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- To work as part of a team
- To follow procedures in line with current and anticipated health and safety legislation, including risk assessments and operating procedures, and ensure work activity conforms to current statutory regulations
- To maintain good communications and working relationships within the department and other departments
- To undertake other responsible duties (within your skill level) that assist in the general operations of the company
- Hand finishing polishing experience would be an advantage
Experience- 5 Years minimum preferred
- Experience in using and maintaining spray equipment
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Be able to work alone and as part of a team
- Working knowledge of H&S regulations
- Able to take on board instructions and maintain a positive attitude
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
