- Description
- A well-established and highly regarded and reputed company small sized UK painting and decorating company based in Hampstead, are currently looking for a painter/decorator to join the team.
Their experienced team create the finest finish for our clients and main contractors, providing the highest quality and service at all levels.
They work predominately in the high end residential market, with the occasional project carried out for commercial clients.
They are ideally looking for someone who will work on site, and in private residence, and can do the following:
- Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth, or plastic to prevent messes
- Moving furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project
- Taping off areas as needed
- Preparing painting services by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
- Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
- Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
- Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
- Cleaning up supplies and replacing fixtures when project is complete
- Communicating with clients to ensure they’re getting the looking and finish there hoping for
- To follow procedures in line with current and anticipated health & safety legislation, including risk assessments and operating procedures, and ensure your work activity conforms to current statutory regulations
Experience
- Painter/Decorator, 5 years minimum preferred
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to climb ladders and mobile towers
- Ability to carry potentially heavy equipment (including painting tools & heavy paint)
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Salary is negotiable based on experience.
