Our client is a leading timber fire door company.
The Company has been established for circa 40 years and has gained an excellent reputation within the industry.
They are currently seeking a General Manager to take control of all aspects of the Company answerable directly to the Director.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of joinery, timber or door manufacturing. The applicant has to have a good understanding of all Health and Safety matters, capable of preparing RAMS, and have first class labour control. Managing a team of circa 15 staff and have the personality to speak with clients.
The candidate should also possess excellent organisation and communication skills and above all be honest and trustworthy.
Could be a Workshop Manager looking for a step up or a Site Manager (from a carpentry or joinery background) looking to move into something a bit different.
Working hours are typically 8.00am to 5.00pm.
