- We are currently looking to recruit the following Head Office based Senior Design Manager with strong Design and Construction New Build mixed used Residential medium to high rise experience mainly working on logistically challenging occupied London brown field sites, candidates must have the following;
The role is to assist the Technical Director in the day to day running of the design and build division which consists of managing/assisting the Design Manager Teams, via the Senior Design Compliance Managers / Team Leaders. There are at present 3 teams to manage and assist.
Assisting the Technical Director with creating and implementing new company procedures and the day to day running of the Department.
Candidates must have the following:
- Experience in the use of JCT Design & Build Contracts, with good construction drawing detail/building regulations/legislation knowledge.
- Architecturally Professionally Qualified either RIBA/ARB/MCIAT registered, or Part 1/HND(C) qualified.
- Come from a Main Contractor/Developer (house builder)/Architectural Consultancy background with Design & Build experience.
- Stable career i.e. longevity of service, minimum 5 years with each employer
- Proven track record of seeing projects from start to finish
- Proven ability to successfully deliver projects up to £20m
- Predominantly UK based experience
- Excellent communicator
- Up to date Project role related safety training
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proven track record of delivering quality projects to programme
- Be a Team Player
- IT Proficient
