- Description
- Our Client is one of the best known facilities management companies operating in the Middle East. To ensure continued success they are looking to appoint a Chief Engineer / Head of Engineering to join the Senior Leadership Team in Oman.
Experience Required:
- At least 10 years in Hard Services FM. GCC experience is a desirable and working experience in Oman would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the strategic development, business planning, operational delivery, performance standards and regulatory compliance of Engineering services across the IFM contract, whether directly provided or subcontracted.
- You will lead the engineering management team, providing a high-quality service as part of an integrated Facilities Management service.
- You will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality and responsive service in Reactive Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Engineering Compliance, Control of Asbestos. Asset Assurance will be a key service delivery component.
- Ensuring the engineering service is being delivered in full compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Providing guidance and technical support to Engineering Managers, Technical Leads, maintenance staff and others in relation to their general duties. Including technical leadership on all compliance and operational maintenance matters relating to the Integrated Facilities Management contract.
- Working closely with the facilities management, supply chain, commercial teams and maintenance contractors to ensure the smooth running of the contract.
- Performing root cause analysis where there has been a significant critical system failure or engineering issues.
- Working with client’s engineering teams to develop engineering strategy.
- Providing technical management of large engineering works across the estate.
Desired / Required Qualifications
- BSc degree or equivalent, NEBOSH
Location of Work
- Muscat, with travel to Oman interior areas.
