- Description
- A leading Facilities Management Company providing business critical solutions to a broad range of customers across the UK. They are looking for an experienced and qualified Project Manager to join their team at Dungeness B Power station. Experience of managing project / maintenance teams is essential, as well as identification and repair of faults on building services. You will be an integral leader within theon site team.
Impact:
- Management and supervision of facilities based minor and major projects
- Manage the design/design process of temporary works
- Manage the Design process of repairs to building fabric, including roofing & cladding repairs, upgrades, modifications
- Lead full demolition surveys
- Facilitation of civil risks on access to rooves etc.
- Support the team with day to day activities required to deliver work in line with the project plan including safety, quality, schedule and cost objectives
- Develop effective working relationships with appropriate parties
- Manage time effectively to ensure tasks are handled accurately and in time ensuring a high standard of delivery to the business and client
- Identify, implement and comply with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards, company and client procedures and policies and other relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, maintaining up to date knowledge including CDM regulations
- Prioritisation of work schedules and projects, delivering on time in full and to budget
- Procurement and management of plant hire and equipment
Complexity:
- Responsible person for civil design for the contractor
- Supporting all civil activities on site from tender through execution & warranty
- All activities are undertaken including demolition, repair, upgrade, modernisation & modification
- Be able to liaise with client civil engineers, client holds all principle positions under CDM
Qualifications or Required Experience
Degree qualified – Civil / Structural
Chartered Engineer
Knowledge of Robot, AutoCAD 3D or similar
Familiar with preparing tender packages
Industrial experience rather than private and commercial buildings
Team player, used to working with other disciplines i.e.Mechanical, Process, EC&I
Salary and package on offer is £65,000 - £70,000 + Business use vehicle + bonus + medical
