- Our Client is a leading International Construction Group working in The Netherlands.
Due to the stringent quality assurance and quality control standards stipulated by their client, they require the services of a QC Engineer to help control all aspects of quality control and quality management on an important, large scale building project in Central Amsterdam.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in Hotel, Apartment, Internal Fit Out with similar past projects, with a focus on recording Snags/Defects followed by close out, to achieve client acceptance.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Be a champion for the “Quality – Right First Time” initiative.
- Establish and promote best practice in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
- Collaborate with the Construction, Internals and Fit Out Teams to support and educate to achieve better quality.
- Ensure that all personnel are aware of their duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
- Support management to ensure compliance with all project requirements.
- Carry out continual inspections of sites and workplaces to determine whether work is being carried out in accordance with relevant design, specifications, policies and procedures and other stated requirements.
- Maintain records as necessary to ensure compliance with Company procedures and Contract Requirements.
- Provide reports, presentations, and information as directed by the QAQC Manager.
- Disseminate information issued by the Quality function to relevant employees.
- Assist in the review of method statements & Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Conduct site Quality Inspections as required.
- Any other Quality Related function as required by the QA/QC function.
