- The Company & Role:
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work in the Middle East and join a leading construction group who are enjoying a busy order book.
The requirement is for a well-seasoned Asphalt Supervisor with hands on experience coordinating works, training site teams, tracking production schedules and materials consumed, monitoring program schedules and processes for efficiency.
You will be responsible for supervising multiple asphalt and subbase gangs and a concrete slip form barrier machine across multiple sites with an average monthly asphalt tonnage of 40,000 tons/month.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and training assigned personnel.
- Oversee progress and efficient utilization of team and equipment.
- Oversee proper equipment maintenance.
- Monitor the layout, placement and compaction of materials.
- Plan, monitor and evaluate quality of works (densities, rolling, temperatures, levels etc.)
- Check measurements, slope and thickness for compliance.
- Ordering of all materials for project.
- Evaluate and recommend preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Establish and maintain records and prepare accurate reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- ‘Hands on’ asphalt laying experience.
- Experience managing multiple sites.
- Strong asphalt and aggregates knowledge.
