Role Overview:

As a Trainee / Assistant Estimator, you will support our estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for dry lining and partitioning projects. This role offers excellent growth opportunities and the chance to learn from experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders for dry lining and partitioning projects.
• Review project drawings, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope of work.
• Perform quantity take-offs and measurements to determine material and labour requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in preparing and submitting detailed cost proposals to clients.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, tenders, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with the estimating team and other departments to ensure comprehensive and accurate bids.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in estimating or a construction-related role is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and positive attitude towards work and team collaboration.
