- Description
- As a result of a new contract award we have an immediate opportunity for an Airfield Inspector/Supervisor with airfield experience to supervise the execution of an Airport Maintenance Contract in the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervision for onsite locations.
- Fully qualified representative capable of performing with little supervision.
- Capable of interpreting project plans and directing workforce accordingly.
- Plans and coordinates all works and reviews the work to ensure compliance with job specifications
- Maintains daily report of construction inspection activities.
- Prepares sketches of construction installations that deviate from plans and incorporates changes into master plans.
- Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Assumes responsibility of administering portions of the contract, which includes preparing change orders.
- Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
- Responsible for quality assurance and control process and procedures.
- Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
- Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years related experience
- Formally trained and conversant with ICAO Annex - 14 and other relevant ICAO Standards and recommended Practices
- Requires airport related construction supervision/inspection experience for airfield projects (preferably maintenance contracts).
