- Description
- You will be joining what is regarded as one of the best known and most successful building and civil engineering contractors operating throughout the Middle East. The requirement is for an experienced Bid Manager to co-ordinate and prepare multi-disciplinary bid proposals for PPP projects from SPV / Investor perspective from the ITN stage to Financial close.
- Report to PPP Bid Director
- Client Liaison ensuring the professional flow of information and representation of the company’s values
- Build Competitive Consortium teams and ensure all relevant bidding agreements are in place at each stage of the bid.
- Prepare Bid Plan, including strategy, resources, programme, organisation, budget, cost disbursement, milestones, deliverables, responsibility matrix
- Monitor and report progress against the bid plan.
- Manage the different facets of the team (Capex, Opex, Funding & Equity) to ensure the proposals are optimised in line with evaluation criteria, compliant with the client’s requirements, deliverable.
- Be capable of identifying and challenging any proposal by any of the consortia members or advisors that does not align with the optimum, and winning bid and the bid plan.
- Preparation and checking of all documentation and submissions to and from client from the consortium
- Coordination of Legal and Financial teams, as well as subcontractors at SPV level
Skills and Qualifications- Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Legal or Finance is preferable.
- Pervious Bid Management of a variety of major and complex construction projects is essential
- Previous PPP experience is essential, preferably at SPV level, or at Senior Management Level in either Legal, Financial, D&B or O&M.
- Excellent organisational, communication and motivational skills
- Ability to work with and deliver to tight timescales.
