- Description
- As a result of a new contract award we have an immediate opportunity for a Supervisor or Inspector with experience supervising the execution of a civils airfield maintenance contract.
Responsibilities
· Provide supervision for onsite locations.
· Fully qualified representative capable of performing with little supervision.
· Capable of interpreting project plans and directing workforce accordingly.
· Plans and coordinates all works and reviews the work to ensure compliance with job specifications
· Maintains daily report of construction inspection activities.
· Prepares sketches of construction installations that deviate from plans and incorporates changes into master plans.
· Oversee total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
· Assumes responsibility of administering portions of the contract, which includes preparing change orders.
· Assist with implementation/interpretation of safety programs. Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
· Responsible for quality assurance and control process and procedures.
· Any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
· Minimum Diploma in Civil Engineering
· Minimum of 5 years related experience
· Requires airport related construction supervision/inspection experience for civils airfield projects (ie. Runway and taxiway repair / maintenance works).
· Ideally some knowledge or experience working to ICAO Annex 14 and other relevant ICAO Standards and recommended Practices
