- Our Client is a leading international building materials supplier and construction company. Due to continued success, they are looking for a ready mix concrete Technical Manager to join their team in the Middle East who can provide leadership, guidance and direction to the Technical Department, ensuring that all objectives and targets are achieved.
Working closely with the laboratory, operations and marketing departments your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising all technical staff ensuring that health & safety, compliance and quality is achieved.
- Achieve required test rates.
- Identify any irregularities and undertake investigations to establish root cause.
- Represent the company during audits.
- Assessing material usage to ensure the designs are running at the optimum.
- Development of new products and make recommendations for alternative products.
- Support resolving customer complaints and technical queries.
The successful candidate will:
- Have strong English verbal and written skills.
- A ‘hands on’ manager prepared to lead by example.
- Be a natural mentor with gravitas and credibility to influence at all levels.
- Be suitably qualified in a relevant discipline.
- A ready mix concrete expert.
- Have considerable technical and quality assurance/control experience.
