- Description
- This is an important requirement for an experienced Senior Corporate QA Manager tojoin one of the largest International Contractors operating globally. They are responsible for delivering prestigious industrial, power and civil engineering projects in Africa and the Middle East over the last 50 years.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic support for the Quality Functions.
- Ensure the performance of variuos departments in line with quality requirments and policy.
- Ensure that all customer complaints have been addressed and corrective measures taken.
- Coordinate the certification process with certification agency and arrange for the external audits and plan the site visits.
- Conduct Lead internal and external Quality Audits on all Companies and Departments.
- Ensure that the performance of various assigned tasks, and the work of staff within the Section are in accordance with the Coorpoate Quality department policies and procedures.
- Prepare periodic performance reports for the section and provide input into the department's Performance Report.
- Review and quality assure all services and work-products delivered by the Construction Companies are compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Conduct ISO awarness sessions in all projects.
- Develop and maintains an audit schedule to be approved by the Corporate Quality Director against which audits are to be executed.
- Carry on Audits (Scheduled /Unscheduled) on the departments as well as the different Projects in all local and overseas operation areas.
- Develop ongoing Audit inspections and produce Audit reports upon completions of site visits to highlight compliance of quality policies and procedures and resolve any risks and concerns.
- Coordinate with project managers to develop project schedules and resource allocation models for QA related projects.
- Review documentation including Subcontractors/Vendors to ensure quality requirements are documented prior to issue approvals.
- Coordinate issue of Quality Management Procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and the project requirements and requests revision where necessary.
- Review the Projects Quality Reports and get the KPI for each project
- Develop and implement awareness/training session on the project quality system as requested by the Project Manager.
Experience & Qualifications Required:
- Experience working in a similar capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- ISO Certificates
- Member of Charted Quality Institute (CQI)
- Audit Management qualified (Lead Auditor)
- Fluent in Arabic and English language.
