- Description
- A medium sized contractor is now seeking to recruit a Design Co-ordinator or Design Manager to strengthen their existing team.
From a main contracting background, you will have demonstrable experience in the co-ordination of projects up to £5m in value in either the education, commercial, retail and leisure sectors.
Key Roles will be:
· Monitoring of design & resolution of technical queries
· Ensure design is received on time for procurement & construction
· Distribution of design information
· Ensure proper records maintained
Key Responsibilities Will Include:
· Checking design against Contractors Proposals
· Control of drawings & design logs
· Distribution of drawings & design info
· Monitoring of design programmes
· Sub-contract design control & co-ordination
· Distribution of info for Client approvals
· Lead BREEAM input & discharge obligations
· Monitor Planning and Building Control discharge
· Monitor RFI flow & ensure technical queries resolved
· Input into VE and design change
· Monitor design changes and change control
· Ensure ‘as-builts’ & product information available for O&M’s
