- Description
- Our Client is a well-known main contractor that operate globally. Following the award of a major construction project, they urgently require an ambitious Temporary Works Coordinator to work on a high rise building project in Rotterdam.
You will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating and implementing the design & construction of complex High-rise construction techniques, falsework, pumping, hoisting, cranes and other equipment, including all necessary HSEQ and Productivity considerations.
Specific Tasks & Duties:
- Reporting operationally to the Construction Manager on a day to day basis (and to the Technical Manager and QAC Manager for technical realization, submissions & approvals respectively );
- Coordinating with Structural & Facade Teams and other HOD/teams for implementation of the design, procurement, construction and control of the high rise works
- Achieving a safe and high quality of structural & temporary works, including interfacing Formwork & Equipments Suppliers, Structural & MEP sub-contractors and Third Parties
- Achieving specified quality standards
- Controlling site personnel/sub-contractors and maintaining a high standard of on site safety
- Record keeping
- Mentoring junior site staff
- Liaising with the Client team and maintaining good relationships with all stake-holders
- Supporting the coordination & agreement of high rise methods
