The Company
Tier 1 local main contractor operating across Bahrain, responsible for successfully delivering iconic building and infrastructure projects over the past 30+ years.
Position
To help ensure the company’s continued success and growth, they are looking to appoint a General Manager to take the business to new heights.
As General Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the profit and loss of the company, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. You will be joining a well managed and profitable company, which is currently enjoying a period of planned expansion, supported by an impressive order book.
A market leader in their field, they have now reached the stage where they seek an ambitious construction professional to play a key role in their future development. Apart from overseeing the company’s projects through to successful completion, a key responsibility of the role will be business development, so previous experience in the Middle East will be an important pre-requisite.
Requirements
- Experience working for main contractors as a General Manager or Deputy GM.
- Operationally, commercially and contractually astute with the drive and enthusiasm to adopt a key role in the ongoing management and expansion of the business.
- Previous experience working in the Middle East is required.
- Suitably qualified in a construction discipline (i.e. Project / Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering etc.)
