A leading construction group operating in Bahrain.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Manager with strong concrete experience to oversee quality assurance and quality control processes within our construction projects. You will be responsible for interpreting civil/structural drawings, projects specifications, national/international codes and standards, and guide the company to the effective and efficient practice of Quality assurance and control of system and products. You will be required to regularly communicate and coordinate with Clients, sales employees, the Section/Department Managers, and their teams with an aim to attain the highest quality standards possible in line with customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Establishment of QMS system in the organization in line with the latest ISO standards and regularly establish the quality audits in line with the requirements.
- Prepare, Submit and Manage the QA QC process and technical documents in line with the company system, project specifications and customer/client requirements.
- Design the concrete mix applicable in precast industry and regularly enhance the concrete design and performance.
- Establish the Inspection and testing systems for the materials and field process.
- Establish the Quality assurance and control trainings in the organization towards the attainment of consistent quality practice.
- Establish the NON CONFORMITY raising process and conduct the Root cause analysis to omit the process and product flaws.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural and engineering documents
- Ability to read and interpret Building Code requirements
- Advanced math skills
- Solid understanding of plant practices and quality control procedures
- Ability to identify and solve color/texture/pouring issues
- Ability to identify and participate in the solution for repeat casting problems
- Ability to diagnose and remedy concrete strength or consistency problems
- Must be skilled in using computer and Excel and Word software
- Strong problem solving, leadership, organizational, and communication skills
