You will be joining what is regarded as one of the best known and most successful general contractors operating throughout the Middle East. The requirement is for an experienced Head of Strategic Material Supply Contracts to join the company’s head office team based in Riyadh.
Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, your responsibilities will include:- Tendering and awarding long term Material Supply contracts
- Investigate Supply options both in country / internationally and develop tender / contract strategy to deliver greatest value to company.
- Automate material supply process through direct call off from contract via Oracle ERP
Required skills and qualifications- Extensive experience across the Supply Chain, both in the Middle East and Internationally
- Preferably CIPS accredited.
- Proven track record of developing and leading high performing team of individuals, with demonstrated ability to interact seamlessly and effectively with all levels of management.
- Strong analytical skills and IT competences
- Continuous improvement and simplification mindset
- Highly tuned commercial acumen and curiosity with demonstrated ability to develop and deliver value from complex deals.
- Proven track record as lead negotiator
- Bachelor in Engineering or Business Administration - MBA preferred
- Excellent knowledge of the construction industry and ideally has held a senior supply chain role within a construction company
